The Hallway Promotes Jessica Thompson And Aldo Ferretto To Creative Directors

The Hallway has promoted copywriter Jessica Thompson (left, pictured) and art director Aldo Ferretto (right, pictured) to creative directors following a string of new business wins  and organic client growth.

Originally from Chile, Ferretto’s career spans four continents with stints in creative powerhouse agencies including Leo Burnett Buenos Aires, DDB Barcelona and Lola Mullenlowe where he worked under legendary ECD Chacho Puebla. With a host of international awards under his belt, Aldo joined The Hallway 12 months ago as senior art director.

Ferretto said: “When I first met Simon, I was inspired by his burning passion for creativity and what he and Jules have already achieved with The Hallway. Now Jess and I are fired up to create the groundbreaking work for our clients that will define the agency’s next chapter. Call me biased, but we’re confident it’s going to be the best one yet.”

Thompson has been a rising star through The Hallway creative ranks since joining the agency in 2017. She has led the creative charge on campaigns for brands including Google, Dexus and Tourism Fiji, and played an instrumental part in the agency winning the Binge account in November 2019.

Thompson added: “This is the beginning of a really exciting new chapter for me personally, for The Hallway and for our clients. I can’t wait to reward the trust implicit in this promotion with world class creative work that makes a real difference to our clients’ businesses.”

The Hallway ECD and partner Simon Lee says: “It’s when the economic chips are down that our clients are most in need of great creativity, that’s why we’re investing in supercharging our creative leadership. I have to be able to look our clients in the eye and guarantee them creative work that will deliver the best possible business outcomes.
