In the future, Facebook’s owner Mark Zuckerberg hopes that people will be able to share thoughts and feelings with others telepathically- the ultimate ‘what’s on your mind’ status update.

This was one of the big dreams the Facebook boss mentioned during a public question and answer session yesterday via Zuckerberg’s own Facebook page. Facebook users had a whole hour to ask the social media mastermind about anything and everything.

Some 47,863 questions were posed to the Facebook overlord, including questions from ‘everyday people’ like Stephen Hawking, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Arianna Huffington. Marcel Rukeltukel’s asked the Facebook head honcho what the future of Facebook would be.

In response Zuckerberg wrote: “One day, I believe we’ll be able to send full rich thoughts to each other directly using technology. You’ll just be able to think of something and your friends will immediately be able to experience it too, if you’d like. This would be the ultimate communication technology.”

Here’s the full post: Screen-Shot-2015-06-30-at-4.18.28-PM Facebook’s CEO mentioned he hoped to host another Q&A session sometime in the near future. What do you think of telepathy? Do you think that’s the creepiest thing in the world? Tweet us @bandt Image credit: KIMIHIRO HOSHINO/AFP/Getty Images.
