Ritson holds a PhD in Marketing and spent 25 years as a marketing professor. He says it best: “my MBA teaching won a shit ton of prizes including best teacher at LBS, MIT & MBS.”
But he’s not all high-brow. Ritson’s industry expertise has been hard earned from years on the tools, working as a global brand consultant for clients including Baxter, McKinsey, Westpac, Johnson & Johnson and Sephora. Ritson also boasts 13 years as the in-house brand consultant for LVMH, the world’s largest luxury group.
Ritson has been a columnist for 20 years with a weekly column for Marketing Week (we won’t hold that against him) which has garnered him five nominations for Columnist of the Year at the PPA Press Awards, the highest award for magazine journalism in the UK.
He’s a big deal.
