The Swinburne University of Technology and digital agency Isobar, have launched Swintopia, For the second year in a row.
The platform is now live, providing prospective students with a virtual, interactive and gamified Open Day experience.
Virtual events and live streams are now the go-to way to connect with people and experience events we would otherwise have missed out on.
After the success of Swintopia in 2020, the campus has upgraded this year to take Open Day experience to a new level.
Students will have the chance to explore the university and find out all they need to know about course options, to help make an informed decision about their career pathway.
In Swintopia, prospective students will see familiar faces including current students such as Richmond AFLW stars Monique Conti and Ellie McKenzie, talented content creator Maskit Mati, and Gogglebox’s own Holly Dalton.
Carolyn Bendall, chief marketing officer at Swinburne, said: “We were disappointed that Swinburne’s plans to host a physical Open Day this year were disrupted by COVID-19 lockdowns.
“Luckily we also worked hard on an upgraded and revamped virtual experience to give prospective students the interactive and exciting Open Day experience they want to help them make informed decisions about their future.”
“Swintopia reflects Swinburne’s position as a leader in creativity, innovation and technology.
“It now includes a host of upgrades and additional features to elevate the users’ experience, including a new mobile-friendly format, fresh course content, opportunities to interact with new staff and students, and tour the campus with new video components.”
“Swinburne continues to be at the forefront of using its creative strengths and technological expertise to deliver digital experiences that challenge the traditional ‘single day’ format of an Open Day, making them accessible to anyone, anywhere at any time.”
