Sunday TV Wrap: The Block & Ashes Combo Hands Nine A Whopping Win

The Block returned to 991,000 viewers last night and looks like it’s lost none of its lustre in its now 14th season.

Nine also did well with the The Ashes on 9Gem, with 566,000 cricket fans tuning in for the first session according to OzTAM metro numbers. That fell to 429,000 for the second session and 399,000 for the last.

In the battle for the entertainment shows, Australia’s Got Talent pulled 819,000 to Survivor’s 630,000.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of Sunday with 1.059 million. While Sunday Night (559,000) got beat by 60 Minutes (673,000).

In the footy codes, Seven’s AFL had 351,000 to the NRL’s 269,000.
