Sunday TV Ratings: Costa Rica Defeating Japan Gives SBS A Big Slice Of The Nightly Pie

SBS’ Fifa World Cup coverage managed to get the network to win Saturday night and come in third on Sunday night.

Nine Network’s overall share was 38.8 per cent. Seven’s Network was 23.4 per cent. ABC Network was 15.5 per cent. The 10 Network was 13.4 per cent, and SBS grabbed 18.8 per cent.

Seven’s News pulled in 809,000 viewers. Nine News pulled in 723,000 viewers. 60 Minutes pulled 430,000 eyeballs. ABC’s news grabbed 536,000 eyeballs. 

SBS’s Fifa World Cup coverage 448,000 viewers – Costa Rica beat Japan by one point. There was only one point scored the entire match, which almost seems more uneventful than a cricket match.

According to OzTam’s reporting, the Women’s AFL Grand final brought in 212,000 eyeballs – Melbourne is now not just known for good coffee, they are also sensational players! Motorway Patrol brought in 225,000 viewers.

Nine’s Lego Masters Brickmas special pulled in 569,000 viewers – who can refuse Hamish Blake? No one. 

The Sunday Project pulled in 292, 000 viewers. Meanwhile, The Graham Norton show pulled in 239,000 viewers. 

ABC’S Insiders grabbed 268,000 viewers. Death In Paradise grabbed 425,000 viewers
