Snickers is taking viewers straight to the therapy couch in an oddball new spot out of the US.
A play on the brand’s famous ‘You’re Not You When You’re Hungry’ slogan, the ad offers up Snickers bars at twice the price – again, you’re not thinking straight when the stomach’s rumbling.
The ad’s the work of Snickers’ incumbent creative agency BBDO New York and, via the bearded, turtlenecked protagonist, finally reveals the real promotion – two chocolates for a thrifty $US1. Sadly, the tasty promo doesn’t extend to Australia. Check out the fun spot below:
