Belvedere Vodka has launched a new global campaign with former James Bond actor Daniel Craig.
The “super-premium” vodka’s new campaign features a star-studded credits list with Taika Waititi directing a series of adverts with Craig.
The company says that Craig has been “skilfully and humorously” choreographed by JaQuel Knight, to an original track written and performed by Rita Ora and UK rap legend Giggs and produced by hitmakers Invisible Men, Bandits, and Hungry Man.
Craig, who always cut a moody figure as Bond, dances through hotels in leather jacket and a singlet with a noticeably lighter demeanour.
In the more than two-minute long director’s cut, Craig moves out of a gathered crowd and passes across Paris’s Pont Neuf bridge, before entering the Cheval Blanc Paris, spinning bottles of Belvedere, and dancing in a shallow pool. Just as he is about to take an ice-cold sip, the Director yells cut, and Waititi makes a cameo, as he asks Craig to take it from the top once more.
The campaign will “come to life” in Times Square on 9 November at 6PM EST, before heading to billboards, and a succession of key events.
