SCA CEO, Grant Blackley has today announced its appointment of Rebecca Ackland to the chief people and culture officer role and leadership team.
Ackland (featured image) joined SCA in 2018 in its Talent Acquisition Team, before becoming HR business partner the following year. In 2020 she was promoted to people and culture manager.
In her new role, Ackland will work to align culture and change initiatives at SCA to deliver against its strategic objectives and will report directly to Blackley.
“Rebecca is an exceptional executive who has built an amazing team of effective and passionate executives at SCA. I am delighted to recognise Rebecca’s contribution and welcome her to our Leadership Team as Chief People and Culture Officer,” said Blackley.
“During her time as people and culture Manager, Rebecca has shaped our people strategy, led change across all departments and developed a deep understanding of the key business drivers and strategic challenges as our business progresses its digital transformation.
“She has a clear vision and uses her expertise to help our leaders take ownership and drive change successfully.”

Ackland’s appointment is effective immediately.
