Samsung And Uber Launches Campaign To Bring Emojis To Life

Samsung and Uber have teamed up to launch ‘Galaxy Emojis Alive’ (#Galaxyemojisalive), a joint campaign that brings some of Australia’s favourite emojis to life.

The campaign, launching tomorrow, has been created to reward and celebrate Samsung smartphone users with an emoji inspired delivery by Uber.

Available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, Samsung smartphone customers will have the opportunity to request live emojis through the Uber app where they can choose from popular emoticons including ‘Donut’, ‘Gift Box’, ‘Love Heart Eyes’ and more – all of which translate into a fun gift**.

With lead agency Edelman responsible for creative concept, content, PR, social content and experiential activation, the campaign is supported with paid media from Starcom and production from Exit Films.

Mechanics

1.     On Thursday 18th February, open your Uber app between 11am – 4pm

2.     Slide across to the Emoji Alive view, set your location and request your emoji

3.     If available, your request will be accepted and your emoji will be on its way!

4.     Demand is likely to be sky-high, so if your request isn’t successful keep trying, Emojis Alive runs until 4pm

#Galaxyemojisalive will be available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Perth on Thursday 18 February, between 11AM and 4PM, using the Uber app exclusively for Samsung smartphones users*.
