Former SiteMinder, Re and ZAG creative director, Richard Davies has joined Frost*collective as creative director in the brand team— the strategy, design and communications specialists within the collective.

Working alongside Frost*collective group creative director, Ant Donovan (featured image, left), Davies (centre) will bring his experience in start-ups, and the change-making energy and pace they demand, to Frost*’s mission to design a better world.

“It feels now more than ever, with so much change in the world, we have an opportunity to shape our future,” said Davies.

“On issues of climate, race and injustice the motivation has never been bigger. It’s on designers to be where cultural shifts are happening around the world, and the world wants a new future designed.”

Davies comes to Frost* following his role as head of studio/creative director at SiteMinder, the Australian tech start-up transforming hotel and travel industry commerce.

He’s also previously held positions as associate creative director at Re (M&C Saatchi) in Sydney and creative director/partner at ZAG (BBH) in London.

“We’re super excited to have Richard on board. His combined tech start-up and brand experience will be of great value to the team,” said Donovan.

Over the past 15 years Davies has worked on branding and innovation projects with clients including Channel 4, Google, The Guardian, Universal Music, Optus and CommBank to name a few.
