Reprise Boosts Leadership Team With Two New Appointments
Digital performance agency Reprise has announced the appointments of Jos Smyth (pictured below) as general manager, Melbourne and Perth and Mychal Whittle (lead image) as stream lead, significantly boosting its senior leadership team and extending its client offering. Smyth is based in Melbourne and Whittle in Sydney both reporting to CEO of Reprise, Jessica White.
White said the appointments come at an exciting stage of Reprise’s evolution and supported the agency’s rapid growth, further cementing its craft expertise to better connect media and drive successful client business outcomes.
Jos Smyth
White said: “Jos and Mychal bring a rich history in performance marketing to the team and will be trusted advisors to clients and the wider Mediabrands business. Having led large teams across eCommerce, media, experience and SEO and analytics, their combined skillsets will allow Reprise to maintain its industry leadership position in performance marketing.
“Jos will lead a team of 70 people across Melbourne and Perth, ensuring Reprise’s planning and activation remains world-class, that we are driving cohesive solutions centred in our FLOW framework, and that we continue to build a strong culture of development and inspiration for all our people,” said White.
“Mychal’s primary focus is to collaborate closely with Initiative, ensuring we deliver comprehensive client solutions, driving performance marketing thought leadership across the business and across the industry.
“They are both big jobs requiring strong leadership, best in class craft skills and a passion for the industry, I am confident we have found these qualities in both Jos and Mychal and I am truly delighted to welcome them both to our senior leadership team and to the business at large,” White said.
Previously head of growth at Spaceship and prior to that head of performance marketing at Bupa, Smyth brings nearly two decades of global experience in full funnel digital marketing/digital sales across a range of the largest agencies, holding groups & brands, to Reprise.
He spent nearly a decade in the USA in leadership roles for Digitas, Ogilvy and iProspect, and then two years back in the UK heading up Performance Media for Zenith Worldwide running a team of 50.
Most recently head of marketing (and prior to that digital director) at The Epiphany Group and The Change Network, Mychal Whittle’s expertise lies in driving profitable growth for clients utilising his capabilities across Experience (SEO, Owned eCommerce, CRM, UX & CRO), Content (content strategy, publishers, influencers and community management) and data and analytics.
White said: “Jos and Mychal are results-driven leaders with a reputation for successfully managing large clients. Their leadership skills, professional drive and understanding of the industry means they are ideal people to lead as we enter Reprise’s next growth phase.
“Reprise has established industry reputation for craft, creative innovation, and client servicing and I’m confident Mychal and Jos’ industry knowledge and zeal for innovation and solving client problems, combined with the calibre of our agency team, that we are well positioned to bring the full spectrum of our capabilities to life. I look forward to seeing what a difference they will make to the business,” White concluded.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
