Tina Provis, aka PR Gun for Red Havas AU, has won this season of Nine’s Love Island.

There’s nothing more we like at B&T than knowing one of our fellow industry mates has appeared on a dating reality show, particularly when we get to proudly report we have a winner on our hands!

Provis is a senior account executive at Red Havas and has been there for over two years.

She is known in the industry as a lady that makes things happen! Which is exactly what you want from a PR lady, well that and good grammar!

Simone Gupta, CEO of Red Havas and industry darling broke the news on Linkedin, with a lovely post.

Gupta wrote: “Mid lockdown I had the strangest leave request of my career, a top-secret request from Tina Provis, PR gun on the Red Havas AU Sydney team, “Can I take two months off to go on Love Island?”

“I had recently approved two months leave for someone to travel around Australia in a campervan (pre-lockdown).

“So it was an easy decision to let someone go off and have a unique experience in a restricted Covid world (plus reality TV is my guilty pleasure).

“Following six weeks of a gruelling emotional roller coaster, last night Tina, and her new bf Mitch (aka Titch) – WON!”

“Tina, we are so proud of you. You are authentic, hilarious, and kind, and it shone throughout the show. It was clear you’ve made lifelong friends with the people.

“The team has been behind you every step of the way. In a year devoid of much fun, this has been a welcome celebration for the team at Red Havas AU.”

Provis was announced the winner after choosing Mitch Hibbert over 50,000 in cash.

Hibbert and Provis are also allegedly still a couple!

Provis said: “I did not expect to meet someone so special or to make it through to the finale – and with a boyfriend!

“But our connection was instant and I’m grateful for the journey we’ve shared. I can’t wait for our future together and I’m very very thankful to the Australian public for believing in us.”

No word yet on when Provis will get back to replying to her work emails.
