PR Agency One Green Bean Opens Office In Amsterdam

Sydney founded PR, Social and Influencer agency One Green Bean has opened a new office in Amsterdam, adding another specialist regional hub to its network, to provide earned-media services to global brands across Europe.

OGB Amsterdam joins OGB Sydney, which was established in 2007 and first went global with OGB London, which launched in 2015.

To support its growth in both existing and new markets, OGB has unveiled a new brand identity to position itself as a Big Little Agency that offers clients the unrivalled commitment to creativity and agility of a boutique operation, combined with the reach, reliability and rigor of a global network, which it achieves via shareholder, Havas. Its positioning across all markets is ‘Creativity that powers Conversation’.

OGB Amsterdam will strengthen One Green Bean’s ability to service its numerous global clients, including Hotels.com, Vodafone Smart Tech, Strongbow and Cereal Partners Worldwide.

The team at OGB Amsterdam will be led by Business Director, Sophie Nicholson, who has held senior roles in both OGB Sydney and OGB London since 2016.

Commenting on One Green Bean’s international expansion, Kat Thomas (main photo), One Green Bean’s Founder and Global ECD said: “Further international expansion has been a continued ambition and we’re thrilled to add Europe to our big little network. Our Amsterdam office will ensure we remain plugged firmly into Europe in the post-Brexit landscape, offering a global perspective coupled with a deep understanding of local nuances and news agendas. Amsterdam is a standout creative and cultural hub, it was a natural next step for us and an exciting one for our clients and team.”

Simone Gupta, Havas PR CEO continued, “In the global earned media agency landscape, there is a real opportunity for a creatively led, agile, independently minded network. With the backing of Havas Group, One Green Bean can fulfil international ambition. It is a really proud moment for the Australian PR community, that Kat Thomas and the team have successfully exported this model.”

Despite the challenges of Covid-19, OGB Sydney grew its new and existing business by 57% in 2020. With expanding remits across PR, social, content, partnerships and its proprietary influencer offer, Co-maker.
