Pepsi has released its blockbuster Super Bowl 2022 Half-Time show trailer, featuring hip hop titans Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre (Pictured above), Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.
These rap and R&B legends will also take centre stage at SoFi Stadium in California for the big dance, making the half-time show one of the most talent stacked events of all time.
The Pepsi trailer, The Call, directed by F. Gary Gray.

The trailer begins by showing Eminem and his alter-ego chaotically throwing ‘Rap God’ lyrics at each other on a virtual screen.
Eminem then gets a call and we transition to ‘The Next Episode’ where Snoop Dogg is gyrating in a hotted up low-rider.
Then we move to Mary J. Blige and she does a runway walk and photoshoot which is shown live in Times Square.
Blige checks her phone and then we then see Kendrick Lamar writing like a person possessed.
He’s also scrunching up papers disapprovingly, tossing them high into the air where Dr Dre transitions into the frame, walking along an empty beach.
Enormous piano keys rise along the ocean’s foreshore, playing Dre’s music as he trudges along.
The three-minute trailer ends with all five superstars walking together toward SoFi stadium for the Half-Time show.
The Pepsi Super Bowl Half-time Show is arguably the single most talked-about moment in music and entertainment.
In recent years more than 100 million viewers have tuned in for the spectacle.
Todd Kaplan, VP Marketing, Pepsi, said, “Given our epic line-up of five superstar talents, we wanted to deliver a cinematic experience that could properly honour each of the artists and celebrate their role in music and culture.”
He added, “We’re bringing fans closer to the magic of what will certainly be a colossal moment in pop culture history.”
