Oporto and Playground XYZ To Launch SuperSkin

Oporto is targeting consumers with the new ad format known as the SuperSkin launching today and run on MCN represented sites Channel V and MTV. The format is the first of its kind on mobile to deliver a single integrated, sponsorship style experience across multiple sites.

Oporto Senior Digital Marketing Manager Rebecca Johnston said: “As we continue to drive digital within Oporto, working with mobile innovators like PLAYGROUND XYZ and their new ad formats such as the SuperSkin is a must for our brand. It allows us to connect with consumers at a brand level whilst creating best-in-class creative and connecting people in the right place at the right time. We continue to look forward to sharing Oporto’s Original Chilli Sauce with Australia this summer and evolving as a digitally led brand.”

Rob Hall, CEO of PLAYGROUND XYZ said: “We’re trying to allow brands to get creative and think outside the box whilst driving scale at the same time. What’s cool about the SuperSkin is that it’s an innovative new type of ad that can be delivered across multiple destinations with just one build. We’ve built technology that lets us rapidly create and deliver new types of mobile ad formats that have until this point been impossible to do at scale. The result is a quickly growing arsenal of new and exciting options for the media buyers and creatives out there.”

Sam Rochaix, mobile manager of Bohemia said: “We all know that time spent on mobile is becoming one of the highest of all channels, if not the highest amongst core youth audiences. It’s extremely important brands adopt strategies which enhance the consumer experience beyond mobile banners. That’s why we’re focused on mobile innovation, and proud to work with PLAYGROUND XYZ and MCN to test their new SuperSkin format.”
