NOVA Promotes Peter Colosimo To Sales Director

NOVA Entertainment has announced the promotion of Peter Colosimo to the new role of Sydney sales director.

The Sydney sales director role will be responsible for overseeing the agency, national direct and direct teams. This new role brings together the entire Sydney sales team and, in line with the Melbourne sales team, creates the same structure in NOVA Entertainment’s two biggest markets.

Peter Charlton, NOVA Entertainment group sales director said, “Peter is a natural leader and a true sales professional who has had an inspirational impact on our business over the last two years. His agency team has to be one of the most successful in the country and it was a very easy decision for us to promote him to be responsile for all Sydney sales.”

With over 14 years’ media experience, Colosimo joined NOVA Entertainment in February 2013 as Sydney agency sales director.

Colosimo got his start in media as a direct sales account manager for Mix 106.5 in 2000. Over the next eight years he was promoted to various management positions within the station and in 2008 became general sales manager. Two years later he took on the network role of Sydney agency sales director for ARN before joining NOVA Entertainment in 2013.

Peter Colosimo said, “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to be working with all our sales and commercial teams to increase NOVA Entertainment’s market share in the highly competitive Sydney market. We have a great opportunity moving forward to continue the momentum we have built in 2014, to set up for another great year and I’m excited to be leading the team towards this goal.”
