Nick Keenan has left his role as Starcom Australia’s CEO.
Publicis Groupe ANZ CEO Michael Rebelo confirmed the departure and thanked Keenan for his contributions.
“After four and a half years, Nick Keenan has departed from his role as CEO of Starcom Australia. On behalf of the Groupe in ANZ, I would like to thank Nick for his contributions and wish him all the best for the future,” he said.
The search for a new Starcom leader is currently underway.
Keenan was appointed to lead Starcom Australia in 2020, after his role as Red Roster’s CEO for two years. He has worked both agency and brand-side at CrownBet, CrownLotto, Maxus, Mediacom, and News Limited.
“Nick is a proven leader with a strong track record of working in dynamic and fast-changing business environments. His adaptive and collaborative nature is a perfect fit for the culture of Publicis Groupe,” said Rebelo at the time of Keenan’s hire.
Starcom’s biggest account win recently was TPG Telecom.
