influencer Nadia Bartel is in the midst of losing a range of brand partnerships after she was found allegedly breaking lockdown and snorting a white substance off a Kmart plate.

On Thursday a video of the incident leaked on social media, well not so much leaked, her phone wasn’t actually hacked. Instead, Ellie Pearson, a close friend and business partner of Bartel accidentally uploaded it onto both Instagram and Facebook.

The video was deleted quickly but unfortunately for Bartel, it was up long enough for people to take screen recordings and it will now live on the internet forever.

The footage went viral and generated a ton of headlines and unwanted press for the influencer and has led to brands cutting ties with the former WAG.  The now infamous video featured Bartel sniffing a white substance off a $1.50 Kmart plate and seemingly breaking Victoria’s lockdown.

JSHealth Vitamins took to Instagram to share they would no longer be working with Bartel.

The video even sparked a trend on TikTok #PutyourkmartplatesoutforNadia

Which yes, involves taking videos of your Kmart Plates outside your house.

To Bartel’s credit, she posted an apology on her Instagram offering no excuses. Bartel said: “I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in the future.”

However, the backlash has continued, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, Bartel has lost a slew of other lucrative contracts, including one with MECCA.

Melbourne Premier Dan Andrews even mentioned the incident in a daily press conference, according to The Age, Andrews said: “It would be my understanding that that matter would be treated no differently to the engagement party.”

This basically means Bartel will likely be fined 5k. Though seemingly she’ll be out of pocket way more for her actions.
