While The Voice continues to completely dominate the entertainment competition, the battle for second place has seen much switching.
Sunday night saw The Block triumph over Australian Survivor, but on Monday night that was reversed. Australian Survivor is currently in the latter half of it’s season, and has rated consistently in the 600,000s.
The Block premiered with The Voice after the Olympics, and has seen its numbers slide round, though it has had some stand out days.
As Suvivor maintains solid momentum and The Block finds its footing, who will do best overall is still in question.
Last night, Survivor had 699,000 viewers while The Block had 627,000. The Voice, predictably, won entertainment with 1,113,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.
On top overall was Seven News at 1,217,000 viewers while in second place was Nine News with 1,114,000. A Current Affair had 813,000 viewers while ABC News had 709,000 viewers.
The rest of Seven’s night had Home and Away at 676,000 viewers while The Chase had 618,000.
On 10, Have You Been Paying Attention? netted 664,000 viewers while The Project had 563,000 viewers and 10 News First had 428,000.
For Nine, Hot Seat had 502,000 viewers and Under Investigation had 435,000.
Finally, for the ABC, 7.30 had 626,000 viewers, Four Corners had 586,000 viewers, Australian Story had 529,000 viewers and Media Watch had 516,000.
The Seven Network won overall with 30.1 per cent of the daily share. Things were slightly tighter between second and third place, with the Nine Network at 24.9 per cent and Network 10 at 21.3 per cent. The ABC Network had 17.0 per cent and the SBS Network had 6.7 per cent.
