Ita Buttrose’s Australian Story brought in eyeballs last night. How can anyone not love the glamourise yet practical Buttrose?
Seven got over the line for a Monday night win; the network is scoring 26.3 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Nine was second with a neat 25.8 per cent, ABC took third with 19.0 per cent, 10 did 12.6 per cent, and SBS thrived with 16.3 per cent.
According to Oztam’s reports, Seven’s 6 pm news was the most-watched evening show and posted 943,000. Nine’s bulletin had 705,000, and ACA did 608,000.
SBS’s Fifa World Cup coverage pulled in 393,000 viewers – Cameroon and Serbia ended up deadlocked.
Nine’s Your Mum, My Dad, grabbed 404,000 viewers – Kate needs a show where she shows everyone her wardrobe and we all clap.
The ABC’s 7 pm news did 667,000, and 7.30 did 565,000. Media Watch posted 550,000. Australian Story scored 574,000 viewers – Ita is a complete icon.
10’s best was The Project (261,000), 10’s News First (228,000)
Other standouts for Seven included The Chase (522,000) and Home And Away (440,000). Nine’s Hot Seat did 307,000.
