Meteorites, Dinosaurs & Ventriloquists! Coke Zero Goes Off Script In Oddball Campaign

Coca-Cola is infinitely aware that its fabled syrupy brown beverage isn’t that good for you, and, thus, has spent the best part of the last four decades marketing its sugar-free alternatives without actually admitting the original version is one, big, sugar-ladened diabetes bomb.

More recently, the tact for the brand has been to get the allegedly healthier variants – Diet and Zero Sugar – to taste as close to the original formula or die trying to convince consumers otherwise.

The two ad’s are the work of creative agency Mercado McCann and ask is this “The Best Coke Ever?”

Clearly aimed at a younger Ys and Zs audience, if anything, the duo of spots is certainly a vastly different approach for the brand that typically relies on attractive models only moments away from having intercourse with one another.

Alas, 10's Gladiators has gone as quickly as it came. Should make for a very wild garage sale, however.
