MediaCom Appoints Willie Pang As Chief Digital Officer

MediaCom has announced the key appointment of Willie Pang as its chief digital officer. In this newly created role, Pang will be responsible for keep MediaCom and its clients at the forefront of what is becoming an increasing dynamic industry.

With over 15 years of industry experience across the globe, Melbourne native Pang joins The Content + Connections Agency where he will be responsible for overseeing the continuity and synergy in the evolution of MediaCom’s full range of digital offerings. Pang has held many senior leadership roles in the digital industry across Australia and Asia. Most recently, he was responsible for establishing the global business footprint for one of China’s leading independent media technology business, iClick Interactive Asia. He had previously founded and run Ventures in Digital Media, a marketing technology and data platforms business, which he successfully sold to Silicon Valley investors. Concurrently, Pang holds Board positions with an array of exciting technology start-up organisations.

Upon his commencement, he will assume responsibility for establishing digital strategies that help clients navigate today and prepare them for tomorrow. At the same time, Pang will be leading the agency’s overall digital strategy, working to ensure that MediaCom’s capabilities are future proofed.

Pangs tenure is effective from today and will see him report directly to MediaCom Australia CEO, Sean Seamer.
