MEC Recruits For Newly Created Programmatic And Social Role

MEC Australia has appointed Greg Cattelain to the newly created role of Programmatic & Social Director, tasked with managing the agency’s programmatic buying and cross-channel marketing services on behalf of a growing number of clients.

Cattelain, who is currently digital client director at Initiative, will be returning to MEC, beginning next Monday 24 October. In his new position, he will report to MEC Australia head of performance Miki Clarke with a focus on further strengthening MEC’s Performance offering in response to growing client demand.

In addition, Cattelain will play a critical role in the development of new partnerships and opportunities for MEC clients.

Cattelain first joined MEC Australia three years ago and rose to the position of senior digital manager, responsible for setting up the agency’s Real-Time Bidding and Social Media department in the Sydney office, before moving to Initiative in September 2015.

Miki Clarke said, “It’s great to welcome Greg back to the MEC family. As the founding member of our social biddable team, his expertise and driving force will now be put to good use in the development of our Performance offering.

“With an increasing number of data and tech partnerships available in the programmatic arena, and cross-channel synergies, it’s imperative that the team and our clients have access to a growing number of industry experts who can assess, measure and optimise our way to even better results.”
