Live Group Launches ‘Live Local’ To Create Digital Vouchers For SMEs
Live group, an Australian payment and marketing service providers for small businesses, has launched a new digital voucher platform specifically to help Australian SMEs through COVID-19.
The Live local platform is designed to help any Australian SME increase revenue during this period of uncertainty by offering a means for businesses to create, promote and accept digital QR powered vouchers. The vouchers are available for anyone to purchase and can be from $5 to $1000 in value and are redeemable through the Live local app.
Live group CEO Reuven Barukh said: “We’ve seen vouchers become increasingly popular in the hospitality sector recently as cafés and restaurants try to boost revenues while social distancing is causing a downturn in trade or temporary closures.
“But we know nearly all SMEs – across any industry – are affected by the current situation, which is why Live local is open to taxi operators, beauty salons, veterinary and dental practices, cafes, retailers – any business.
“It’s an unprecedented time, so we’ve designed a platform that not only gives business owners the means to continue to make sales through an alternative stream but also takes the pressure off their own, potentially limited, marketing resources. We all have to do what we can to help.”
The Live local platform is free for all businesses to sign up. The listing and digital voucher offering can be easily promoted by businesses via their social media, email or SMS promotions using a unique link. Meanwhile, customers looking to support local small businesses can search listed businesses and voucher offers using Live local’s in-built postcode and suburb search.
Other features include customer service support via live chat, email or phone, the option for customers to purchase vouchers using multiple payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and G Pay.
Live group, creators of Live local, is an established payments provider meaning business’ customers are protected from potential data breaches and theft through Live group’s existing fraud prevention and business verification.
