Klarna has partnered with Shopify Plus to sponsor Add To Cart, one of Australia’s most popular locally produced marketing podcasts that helps share practical eCommerce tips for retailers.

Created by eCommerce consultant Nathan Bush (12HIGH, Super Retail Group) in September last year, Add To Cart collects the news, insights and latest research with expert interviews that dive deep into the topics that matter to the retail industry.

With listeners across Australia and New Zealand, the US and UK, episodes are released fortnightly on a Monday across all platforms (Apple, Google, Spotify) with Add To Cart reaching #2 on the iTunes Australian Marketing podcast list.

Klarna seamlessly integrates with businesses who use Shopify Plus as its e-commerce platform in just a few clicks. Both are built for change, allowing merchants to be relevant now and to scale and grow in the future.

Together, Klarna and Shopify Plus empower merchants to provide a superior customer experience and the freedom and flexibility for customers to choose when and how they want to pay.

This competitive advantage allows Australian brands to unlock growth, boost conversion rates and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through a smoother shopping experience.

Add to Cart host Nathan Bush said: “The podcast is much more conversational, like having a relaxed coffee or beer with a mate, than a conference panel talk but I still want to make sure that our listeners get at least one or two new ideas that they can take into their business and keep growing.

“Despite the doom and gloom, there is a huge opportunity for Australian retail, but it requires creativity and guts which is why it’s exciting to have global partners such as Klarna and Shopify Plus who are well respected and connected in the retail world.”

Klarna Australia and New Zealand country head Fran Ereiraadded: “Add to Cart is a must-listen for anyone engaged in the constantly changing world of eCommerce and who want to grow their online business. Much like the podcast, our goal at Klarna is to drive positive change for new and creative retail in Australia so our sponsorship is one way we can support local retailers by connecting them with expert advice and new ways of thinking that challenge the status quo.”

Shopify Plus head of APAC marketing Robin Marchant said: “Shopify Plus has been proud to partner with Add To Cart from the very beginning, to bring the latest eCommerce news and insights to the Australian audience. The world of commerce is changing, and we know how important it is to adapt and keep up with the changing times, especially today when days can feel like months, and months feel like years. We want Australian commerce and retailers to be at the forefront, by being informed, supported and guided. Both Shopify Plus and Add To Cart are passionate about making sure retailers remain fast, nimble and relevant so they can thrive today and into the future. Your customers won’t stand still. You can’t either.”
