Back for its 10th season, the KFC Big Bash is celebrating all the excitement, action and memorable moments experienced during a match, in a new integrated campaign from Apparent.

Spring boarding from Cricket Australia’s new campaign platform ‘What we’re made of’, the BBL creative dials up epic summer nights and family fun with ‘Made of moments’, promoting the Big Bash in all its high octane glory.

A new visual style has been created to give BBL a distinct, modern and cutting edge feeling, whilst incorporating the bright colours of every team in the league.

Apparent, one of Australia’s largest independent full service agencies with more than 120 employees, was appointed by Cricket Australia to manage its creative and media earlier this year.

Michelle Turchini, ECD at Apparent said: “We wanted to show not only the thrill that comes from watching the elite players, but also the feeling in the stadium, capturing the summer night skies and spontaneous energy of the fans.”

The campaign has launched with a 30-second commercial with 15-second cutdown, along with extensive OOH media, digital and social media.

CA’s Head of Brand and Marketing Natalie Davey added: “KFC BBL is back for a year like no other. We are aiming to bring all the excitement that our fans love to make it a season to remember.”

This campaign is the latest collaboration between Apparent and Cricket Australia which focuses on cricket as a part of the Australian identity. Further extensions will be released alongside the current CA campaign to launch the upcoming Vodafone Test Series between the Australian and Indian men’s teams.
