KateCo. PR To Launch Aussie Brands In US Market In 2025

Australian independent PR agency, KateCo. PR, will open offices in New York and Miami in 2025, giving Australian brands the opportunity to launch in the US with local PR specialists, whilst also having on the ground support in Australia to help manage the team and support growth.

The new direction for the agency comes after the successful project, ‘THE RESIDENCY’, which the team rolled out in New York alongside Two Hands Agency in September this year, with managing director Kate Keane recognising there was a need for brands to have the comfort of contacts on Aussie soil, as they navigate the US landscape.

“A number of our brands are in the midst of rolling out entry into the US market and being able to offer them the security of working with their existing agency, we have the opportunity to provide a holistic global strategy. We will work closely with our international team to achieve client objectives and are in a position to share comms plans and materials and assist with managing the admin, that brands don’t have the time to resource. Our deep knowledge coupled with our long history with our clients, puts us in the perfect position to provide strategic counsel on international expansion”.

The US team boasts PR specialists across beauty, fashion, wellness, events and lifestyle and includes Brittanae Casper, based in New York City, and expat Nic Bryant who resides in Miami.

With almost 15 years of experience, Britt previously worked for Karla Otto and HL Group on beauty, wellness, fashion and lifestyle brands, including Cartier Fragrance, Lancer Skincare, AG Jeans, Barbie, MALIN+GOETZ and Acqua di Parma. Prior to moving to NYC, she first began her career at RMS Beauty where she led the company’s marketing campaigns and launched its social media platforms. Following this, she held titles at 5W and Wetherly Group, and was specially tapped to launch Kenneth Cole’s first new fragrance Masterbrand as well as 100% PURE’s sister brand Puristry – a skincare line created exclusively for Anthropologie.

Aussie Nic Bryant has lived in the US for over 11 years residing first in LA, then New York and now making the move to Miami, she has worked across a number of lifestyle brands including Skyn Iceland, Coca-Cola, and Hybernate. A PR and events expert, Bryant has managed the gifting lounge for the GRAMMYs for several years, and has coordinated branded events from intimate dinners right through to retreats in the Hamptons. She is well established in the US and her work has been mentioned in US VOGUE.

Upon launch in 2025, the KateCo. PR team will lead swimwear-meets-activewear brand, Sheila’s, launch into the US, whilst planning for a number of other client launches later in the year. The team will also roll out “THE RESIDENCY” from 8 – 12 September 2025, prior to New York Fashion Week and, the agency will not only service existing clients, but welcomes any brand who might be interested in the US market.
