Those cheeky wags over at Sportsbet have unveiled their latest homemade effort just in time for the NRL’s opening weekend.
Starring retired Broncos star Sam Thaiday as a handyman, it basically has a prod at all of the game’s ailments and, thankfully, was recorded before the Canterbury Bulldogs’ current woes.
Sportsbet’s comms manager Rich Hummerston noted: “This might be the most important role Sam Thaiday has played since retiring! As we enter another NRL season, some clubs have aspirations for some success, but plenty are a little more realistic, and need a quick fix.”
