InfoSum, the world’s leading data collaboration platform, today announced its expansion into Australia and New Zealand, continuing to grow the business due to exceptionally strong market demand amidst changes in managing customer data.

InfoSum enables companies to collaborate with complete end-to-end protection of their customer data using market-leading Data Clean Room technology, ensuring companies never have to compromise on security or privacy. InfoSum is already working with global companies such as Disney, Experian, Omnicom, and Axel Springer.

With the expansion, Rick Knott joins InfoSum as general manager, Australia & New Zealand, with immediate effect to lead the business in the region.

Knott has more than 25 years of experience in the media and marketing space, with 13 years of experience in the data and technology industry. Prior to his role at InfoSum, Rick worked as commercial strategy & business development director APAC at Quantcast, expanding the Quantcast business into APAC. He also worked as regional director & gm APAC at creative management platform Celtra, launching and leading their business into APAC, growing the business and the team. Other roles include chair of the IAB Australia Mobile Advertising Council, and business development & operations director ANZ at InMobi.

“Australia is an innovative market with highly skilled and discerning operators of the best technology on the edge of a shift in data privacy. Our platform allows Australian and New Zealand businesses to confidently and securely manage their customer data and collaborate with partners, all without sharing sensitive personal information“, said Brian Lesser, chairman and CEO at InfoSum.

“We are thrilled about Rick joining InfoSum. With him we have an experienced thought leader and executive leading on the ground in Australia and New Zealand. Rick is already driving growth, expanding key global relationships into the region, and starting to grow a world-class team.”

“The market is on the brink of change, with privacy regulations such as the Online Privacy Bill and the extinction of the third-party cookie threatening the way companies collect, manage, and use consumer data,” said Rick Knott, General Manager ANZ at InfoSum.

“InfoSum’s privacy-first data clean room technology is entering the market at just the right time to support local businesses’ data management. The non-movement of data approach enables companies to future-proof their business and be ready for any privacy regulation, by eliminating the need to move data. I am thrilled to join the team to lead our work with top brands, publishers and agencies to equip and enable them all to successfully navigate the ever-changing data and identity landscape with a technology that will drive exceptional results for the whole ecosystem.”
