WPP’s Ikon Communications has confirmed it has a new trans-Tasman client in Avis Budget Group.
An Ikon spokesperson told B&T the agency has been appointed as the agency of record for Avis Budget Group across Australia and New Zealand.
Ikon will be responsible for all of the strategy, creative (of which Y&R was the incumbent on), media, content/social, data, and performance work for Avis Budget Group.
Nielsen data shows that Avis Budget Group spent approximately $1.9 million on media in the last 12 months.
