IAB’s MeasureUp To Return In 2021

IAB Australia has announced that the MeasureUp conference will return for its fifth year on 27th October and is seeking submissions for smart and engaging speakers, sessions or workshops from Australia’s media and marketing industry.

As investment in digital advertising continues to outpace the rest of the media sector representing two-thirds of the paid advertising market, the changes in third party cookies, changes in privacy regulation, continued digitisation of traditional channels, cross media measurement challenges for media owners, agency and advertisers makes the MeasureUp conference more crucial than ever.

MeasureUp is the only measurement-focused conference in Australia and has a track record of providing insight into both marketing outcomes and the science of ad and media measurement.

Submissions that are specific to the Australian market, have unique research and data insights, and are supported by and based upon real-life client case studies will be favoured. Fresh faces, new research approaches and challenging thinking will also be attractive to the selection committee. The event will be both in-person and live-streamed throughout the day so sessions including international speakers are eligible.

Gai Le Roy, CEO of IAB Australia commented: “We are looking for stand-out case studies, ideas and concepts because not only do we aim to inform and educate our audience, the conference also helps the IAB review measurement standards and innovation applied to advertising, content & effectiveness for digital and cross media marketing.”

The event will be held at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney on 27th October 2021 with a live audience of approximately 300. For the first time it will also be livestreamed to allow a larger audience to attend.

All submissions will be reviewed by the IAB CEO and Director of Research as well as selected members of the IAB Audience Measurement Council and Ad Effectiveness Council.
