Online comparison service, iSelect, has re-appointed incumbent agency The Taboo Group as its lead social media agency following a four-way pitch.
The reappointment will see the Melbourne-based agency, which specialises in youth marketing services, develop the brand’s 2013 social media strategy.
Andrew Mackinnon, managing director of Taboo, said: “iSelect have been a fantastic client for us in 2012 and we’re wrapped to have them back with Taboo.”
“This will be a year of punching through digital and social media clutter with relevant, exciting and brand value-adding creative.”
Taboo has started to work on the social media campaign which helped it retain the iSelect account.
The social media activity is set to leverage iSelect’s ATL Rate Rise campaign.
Roger McBride, marketing director at iSelect, said Taboo maintained its grip on the account due to “innovative thinking and robust execution strategies”.
Taboo first won the business in November 2011.
