The chain has released its ‘Fast Food, by GYG’ campaign, celebrating 15 years of ‘100% Clean* Mexican’ food.
The campaign celebrates the ‘holy grail of fast food’ .
Guzman y Gomez have three core messages that they are celebrating in the campaign.
The first is ‘who said fast food has to be bad food?’. Guzman y Gomez has always focused on ‘reinventing the stereotype of what fast food is’.
Their second message is ‘fast food your mum says yes to’. The menu is 100% clean, using only the freshest ingredients and ensuring that there are no added preservatives, artificial flavours, added colours on unacceptable additives in their food.
Finally, Guzman y Gomez asks: ‘what if drive-thrus were good for you?’. While their drive thru service is just as fast as other fst food branches, customers can be reassured that the menu is 100% clean, with budget friendly, health options like the $3 Taco and $10 Mini Meal.
Founder and CEO Steven Marks said, “since opening our first restaurant in Newtown in 2006 we set out on a mission to re-invent fast food. We’re been proud to call ourselves fast food and we believe fast food doesn’t have to be bad food.
I’m so proud of all we’ve accomplished over the last fifteen years and promise to remain committed to high quality food that doesn’t sacrifice on flavour or nutrition so that our guests can continue to enjoy Fast Food, by GYG.”
The campaign will include bus advertisements, social media, out of home billboards and video.
