Holden and Velocity Frequent Flyer have announced an exciting offer awarding customers who purchase a new Holden vehicle with up to 100,000 Velocity Points for travel with Virgin Australia and Velocity’s wide range of partners.

Commencing Monday 1 August, and running through until Friday 30 September 2016, the offer is a first for the two iconic brands and will help car buyers see more of the world. It is the first time in Australia frequent flyer members can earn points directly with a car brand.

Velocity Points are available to eligible buyers depending on car model, from the all-new Holden Spark that could get the buyer on their way from Sydney to Fiji to the MY16 Colorado 4×4 that could get the buyer on their way from Sydney to London.

“We are excited to join Velocity in this Australian-first offer bringing together road and air travel”, said Bianca Mundy, Holden’s senior manager, marketing communications.

“It’s another way we are rewarding our customers, and encourage buyers to explore new possibilities with this offer”, she said.

Velocity Frequent Flyer CEO, Karl Schuster said: “Holden is one of Australia’s most iconic brands and we are delighted to give its customers greater opportunities to travel.

“We are always looking for new ways for our members to earn Velocity Points and we are excited that their next car purchase could reward them with their next holiday,” Mr Schuster said.

Velocity Points can be earned at Holden dealerships around Australia.
