The mystery of Aldi’s ‘blow job stool’ has been solved, with the grocery company confirming the unusual item is the work of photoshop.

Social media users were left perplexed earlier this week when an image showing the stool being sold as part of Aldi’s Special Buy sale in the middle aisle of the store.

Good old #aldi. Go in to pick up some meat and veg and come out with a blow job stool pic.twitter.com/zzff2OJTd4

Twitter quickly erupted at the image.

“ALDI – Good, different,” said one user, in a nod to the supermarket’s tagline.

“I get that blow may be a mishearing of “faux” but where does job come from?!” said one user.

“I’m sensing lost in chinese manufacture translation?” asked another.

While many seemed to hope the stool was a real item, Aldi has confirmed the label is the work of Photoshop.

The supermarket chain told Yahoo, that while it does stock the stool, the label is fake.

A ‘Square Grey Short Faux Fur Stool’ is available in UK stores, for £14.99.

You can actually see the word ‘faux’ in the label of the doctored image.
