SBS’s controversial show ‘Go Back To Where You Came From’ returns for season three to remind us to stop being racist and actually treat asylum seekers like human beings.
In the three-part series six ‘ordinary’ Aussies will retrace an asylum seeker’s journey to come to Australia. A former refugee, two sisters, a detention centre whistle-blower, a teacher and a ‘Stop the Boats’ campaigner will take part in the documentary.
SBS managing director Michael Ebeid said “The refugee and asylum seeker debate is one of the most complex and divisive for our modern multicultural Australian society. The time is right to continue the conversation now.”
‘Go Back To Where You Came From’ returns on July 28th.
