US car insurance giant Geico continues to have fun with its pre-roll advertising, unveiling a new campaign that literally compresses them for viewers’ convenience.
Created by The Martin Agency, the ads open with a voice-over saying that they are “being condensed for your viewing convenience”.
Nek minnit, the left wall on the screen begins to move to the other side like a rubbish compactor, crushing the entire set and forcing the characters to get the hell out of the way.
This is not the first time that Geico and The Martin Agency have been clever with their pre-roll ads.
The company’s ‘Unskippable’ campaign took out the Film category at the Cannes Lions Grand Prix 2015.
