Technology provider Fasthost recently used Hypeauditor to find which influencers and celebrities have fake followers on Instagram.

Fasthost analysed celebrities’ and influencers’ Instagram profiles and revealed the top 25 accounts with the highest percentage of fake followers.

Makeup mogul, Kylie Jenner was found to have the most suspicious accounts following her Instagram account, with 29 per cent.

Of the 223 million people who follow Kylie, 63 million accounts are fake followers. To put this into perspective this is equal to nearly the population of France.

The Jenner’s and Kardashians dominated the fake following breakdown. Following closely in second place was Kendall Jenner and in seventh and ninth place is Jenner’s half-sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian.
