Drive TV is set to return to screens 12 pm this Sunday 20th October on Channel 9. The new season titled Roads of Change: Past Meets Present, will take viewers on a journey through time.

Now in its eighth season, Drive TV’s latest 10-part series takes viewers on an exploration of the evolution of some of Australia’s most beloved vehicles. From family-favourite cars to legendary sports models, Roads of Change: Past Meets Present unearths how new innovations pay homage to trusted legacies, all while embracing cutting-edge advancements in style and technology.

Viewers will also meet new Drive TV presenter, Jess Lydka-Morris. Jess has been part of the Drive family since 2019, joining the team following stints at various lifestyle publications in the UK. “I can’t wait for viewers to join me this season as we hero the enduring bond between people and their cars,” said Jess.

“Set against some stunning Australian landscapes, this season offers a perfect blend of nostalgia and forward-thinking motoring as we explore how the vehicles we know and love today have been shaped by the innovations of the past,” said Jess.

“Drive TV continues to reinvent itself with every season, bringing fresh formats and exciting content streams for our viewers. Whether it’s lifestyle, car buyer guides, or showcasing epic road trips, we strive to engage every type of car enthusiast,” says Terry King, Executive Producer, Drive.

“This season is a perfect mix of looking back at automotive history and embracing what’s to come. We’re excited to share these incredible stories and showcase the future of driving,” said Terry.

The new series will feature a diverse range of cars including the all-new Kia Carnival Hybrid, the iconic Mazda MX-5 and the luxurious Maserati GranTurismo.

Episode one of Drive TV’s Roads of Change: Past Meets Present will air at 12pm this Sunday 20th October on Nine. Season eight will run for ten weeks on Nine and available to stream on Nine Now.
