Network Ten have revealed who will be the hosts of its new game show that is set to hit screens very soon.
Celebrity doctor Andrew Rochford (who was formerly the host of Ten’s long-gone Breakfast program) and satirist Mark Humphries (who announced his departure from SBS’s The Feed less than a week ago) will front the Aussie version of UK quiz show Pointless.
Each episode sees teams of two contestants try to find correct but obscure answers to general knowledge questions in order to score as few points as possible and become eligible to compete for the show’s big cash prize.

Rochford said: “I’m very lucky to be forming a team with a talent like Mark and genuinely excited to be back at Ten, but I’m even more excited about the fact my dressing room has a couch and Mark’s doesn’t.”
Humphries said: “Who said Twitter is a waste of time! After an extensive social media campaign (two tweets), Ten had no choice but to give me the dream role as host of Pointless.”
Despite deciding to rest Family Feud, Ten seems to be banking on game shows to bring it some future TV ratings success, having also recently announced it will be bringing Ellen DeGeneres’ Game of Games Down Under later this year, recruiting Grant Denyer as host.
