Danone has appointed Profero Sydney has to handle its Australian digital marketing account for its baby nutrition brands Aptamil and Karicare after a pitch.

The remit also sees the agency managing Karicare’s digital strategy, search and user experience elements, while taking over digital strategy, creative and web development on Aptamil.

Profero Australia’s MD Dave Bentley: “We take a consultative approach to solving business problems resulting in really useful, multiplatform experiences for our clients.

“Working across the entire digital proposition for these two exciting brands means we are far better placed to create strong platforms that connect with customers wherever and whenever they are.”

Kathy Cavill, Nutricia’s consumer products and services director said: “Both Aptamil and Karicare are highly trusted, strong performing brands in their markets, and connecting with mums, dads and families during the life-changing journey of parenthood is a crucial part of delivering that on-going trust and success.

“We were impressed by Profero’s considered approach to designing long term, sustainable connections platforms that will engage customers in new and meaningful ways. We’re very much looking forward to developing our partnership with Profero.”
