Halliday is excited to announce that premium wine retailer, Dan Murphy’s has just been announced as the major sponsor for the 2020 Halliday Wine Companion Awards.
The awards are the wine industry’s milestone annual event celebrating the best wine in Australia and the launch of the annual 2020 Halliday Wine Companion book.
The 20 Halliday Wine Companion Awards presented by Dan Murphy’s will be held on the 7th August 2019 and will this year again take place at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Halliday Wine Companion’s, James Halliday and his tasting panel taste over 9000 Australian wines annually in search of the winners of six major awards along with thirteen varietal winners, which will be announced throughout the evening.
Tickets for the wine industry’s most coveted event are now on sale, with a limited number available.
Join MC Merrick Watts and James Halliday as they announce the major awards including Winery of the Year, Winemaker of the Year, Best Value Winery of the Year, Best New Winery and Dark Horse Winery of the Year, along with the varietal winners that are carefully selected by Halliday and his team.

A selection of Halliday award winning wines will be available at selected Dan Murphy’s stores and online and throughout August, Halliday and Dan Murphy’s will be profiling major award winners through a content partnership featuring Dan Murphy’s Wine Merchants.
