Coca-Cola’s Quirky Love Story Encourages Drinkers To Recycle

A new ad for Coca-Cola out of the UK plays down the beverage’s sugar-ladened, caffeine hit and instead encourages its drinkers to recycle the bottles and cans.

Playing on an animated “love-story” between a bottle of Fanta and a Coke Zero, the ad features plenty of nice puns and innuendo.

The two plastic bottles banter about their romance and how they kept giving it a “second chance” after being recycled again and again.

It’s part of Coca-Cola UK’s sustainable packaging strategy, which sees the company aim to recover all its packaging, as well as increasing the use of recycled PET in bottles from 25 per cent to 50 per cent by 2020.

The ad was by creative agency by Ogilvy & Mather Berlin. Check it our below:
