Spotify has announced the appointment of Cassie Gilbert to the vacant role of sales director for Australia and New Zealand.
Gilbert replaces Andrea Ingham, who left Spotify in July to join BuzzFeed Australia as its first vice president of business partnerships in August.
A seasoned media professional with 15 years’ experience in publishing and global media tech companies, Gilbert has spent the past six years in leadership roles within Spotify’s sales division.
For the last two years, Gilbert has worked at the streaming giant in the role of group sales director leading the Dentsu Aegis Network and Publicis accounts.
Cassie joined Spotify in 2012 after relocating from the UK, where she worked in sales account management roles at The Weather Channel and Dennis Publishing.
