Brisbane agency New Word Order has joined the fight against suicide, crafting a digital campaign for Brisbane North PHN that helps people find their reasons to stay.

Informed by lived experience survivors and experts in suicide prevention, the campaign focuses on conversation as a key to preventing suicide and the importance of doing so to find reasons to keep living.

New Word Order creative director Scott Oxford said the campaign targeted people at risk, and those who love or have lost.

“We’ve reached a point where almost all of us have been touched somehow by suicide, and the heartbreaking question keeps getting asked – what could we have done differently?

“There’s no real answer to that, but there are things we can all do now to help prevent suicide from happening.”

“This campaign is in support of the brilliant work Brisbane North PHN are doing in their region, but their heart, and ours, is to see this campaign spread far beyond the boundaries of their region and make a difference to the lives of people everywhere.”

“It’s definitely one of those campaign we can all agree on – and sharing it can make the difference in someone’s life.”

The campaign drives traffic to the website reasonstostay.com.au providing resources and links for those at risk, those affected and those who want to help.
