Aussie Supercar Does Full Lap With Advertising Hoarding Stuck To The Bonnet

Dunlop Tyres certainly got more bang for its advertising buck over the weekend, after a race car careered into one of its advertising hoardings and becoming wedged to the car’s bonnet.

Supercar driver Todd Kelly was navigating his Nissan around Melbourne’s Sandown Racetrack when he missed a corner and slammed into Dunlop’s trackside billboard. However, the hoarding became lodged on Kelly’s grill – embarrassing for him, but some excellent advertising exposure for Dunlop.

Kelly then completed nearly a whole lap with the sign stuck to the front of his car, unable to dislodge despite his best efforts.
