It’s Friday and after a stressful week isn’t it good to unwind with some simple, stress-free pleasures? And who better than Victoria Secret’s model Kelly Gale appearing on Playboy’s (now nude-free) September issue.
Gale’s debut comes after another Aussie, Rose Byrne, appeared in the famous men’s magazine in May. Playboy changed its direction last February, going for a young audience, with no nudes and stronger editorial.
Gale – who has an Aussie dad and Indian mother – actually grew-up in Sweden and was discovered by a modelling agency at the age of 13 in a Gothenberg cafe.
The 21-year-old has modelled for everybody from Chanel, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Jean Paul Gaultier. However, she shot to global stardom when she became an “angel” for Victoria’s Secrets in 2014 (see below). She also appeared in a recent Enrique Iglesias music video.
In her Playboy debut, Gale not only scores the cover but a sizzling 14-page spread in the magazine.
In the interview, Gale reveals she now resides in New York, likes to fish, is an incredibly fast walker, doesn’t care much for social media and, once she’s done with modelling, would like run her our health food cafe.
