Adobe Appoints Bank Of Queensland Chair To Its First International Advisory Board

Bank of Queensland Chairman Patrick Allaway has been appointed by Adobe to the company’s first-ever International Advisory Board.

Allaway joins five other international leaders on the Board – a new effort from Adobe to provide strategic counsel outside of the US.

Adobe Asia Pacific president Simon Tate said: “Adobe remains focused on accelerating growth and APAC, as the company’s fastest growing region, is a priority. With Patrick’s counsel, we intend to develop our technology to better meet the demands and opportunities for Australian businesses.

“Patrick will also work with key customers to bring digital transformation into the boardroom, leveraging his corporate advisory experience to help boards and management teams navigate disruption and technological change to help create and sustain a competitive advantage in a rapidly accelerated digital economy.”

As well as his role of chair of the Bank of Queensland, Allaway is also the Non-Executive Director of Dexus Funds Management Ltd and Allianz Australia. He has also held Executive and Non-Executive roles for Citibank, Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) and Nine Entertainment.
