Adland Leaders Launch Pembleton: A Clubhouse For Creative Ideas

Matilda Hobba, Simon Bagnasco, Alex Speakman, and Mac Wright have launched Pembleton, a “clubhouse for creative ideas.”

The four partners combine their strategic, creative, and project management experience with leadership roles at independent agencies like Taboo and multinational icons like Saatchi & Saatchi.

They have helped create some of the most effective and awarded work in the country for brands, including Toyota, Arnotts, Kmart, TAC, Mecca, and the Royal Australian Mint.

Bagnasco, Speakman and Wright worked together for seven years at Saatchi & Saatchi before joining Hobba for a stint at Bullfrog.

Pembleton aims to deliver the best creative and strategic work for all manner of brands and businesses. With an increasing number of clients rejecting retainer models and more and more brands bringing capabilities in-house, Pembleton offers a flexible model – a clubhouse approach. One where brands and companies collaborate with exclusively senior talent, in an efficient, convivial environment.

“We wanted to create a place where everything was stripped back; A team of four senior people, across three key disciplines, working hand-in-hand with those closest to the business problem, on a project basis. A place where brands and brand custodians receive the creative and strategic focus they need from experienced talent they know can deliver. All without layers or fluff,” Hobba said.
